Workflow Product

Dialog Based Field Service Assistant

Small field service teams lose time when technician messages arrive incomplete and office staff must reconstruct what happened.

Product problem

Technician input is often incomplete. A useful workflow has to ask for missing fields, prepare a clean handover and keep the office responsible for release.

Users or reviewers

Small field service businesses, office coordinators, technicians, Product Leads evaluating workflow design and Engineering Leads evaluating scope control.

Product decision

Narrow the first useful behavior to intake, clarification, preview and human confirmation. Integration and automation stay outside the current boundary.

Scope and explicit exclusions

  • Included: limited service cases, field completeness, clarification prompts and report draft structure.
  • Included: office review and confirmation before external use.
  • Excluded: voice, photos, ERP, CRM, pricing, invoicing, customer messaging and autonomous external action.

Implementation evidence

  • Shared field service core documents the staged domain logic.
  • Sanitär pilot scope lists included and excluded service cases.
  • Paid pilot check material defines a 90 to 120 minute discovery format.

My role

I defined the operating problem, scope, boundaries, pilot check and review gates. Implementation work is represented through bounded repository modules and documentation.

What this proves

  • Operational workflow scoping.
  • Human handover design.
  • Boundary setting before integration complexity.
  • Ability to translate messy field input into reviewable structure.

What this does not prove

  • Paid adoption.
  • Production deployment.
  • ERP or CRM integration.
  • Customer validated ROI.

Inspection path

  • Read the pilot scope and shared core README.
  • Check the excluded integrations before evaluating maturity.
  • Use the paid pilot check as the first external validation path.

Human review boundary

The system prepares a draft and flags missing information. The responsible office checks, edits and decides before anything leaves the business.

Current maturity

Repository backed prototype plus paid pilot check preparation, awaiting real external validation.

Next evidence needed

One real business conversation should decide whether the pain is frequent, costly and bounded enough for a paid check.
