Distinguish as you read
A good question leaves room for the answer.
- What was observed or measured, under what conditions, and in whom?
- Which statement is a testable hypothesis, and which is personal experience or philosophical interpretation?
- Which source supports the specific claim, and what does it not establish?
A literary image can open a question. It does not replace scientific evidence. The published texts invite examination and disagreement.
